Fully-Inclusive Junior Camp -MIAMI (School-Specific Refund Policy)

Our Summer Camp program includes:

- 20 English lessons per week (15 hours) from Tuesday to Friday or Monday to Thursday;
- All course materials and an end-of-course certificate;
- Full board including 3 meals per day and a variety of healthy food options;
- Accommodations;
- Fully-supervised excursion and activity program - 5 half days from Monday to Friday and 2 full days on Saturday and Sunday. All entry tickets are included;
- Local transportation;

Classes:

YES USA can guarantee the highest quality of teaching. All of our teachers hold the Cambridge teaching certificate CELTA or its equivalent. We take teacher training and development very seriously and maintain extremely high standards of teaching through regular teacher observations and weekly professional development workshops and seminars.

The focus of the program is on developing conversation and communication skills. Students make progress in their fluency and speaking accuracy through constant interaction with teachers and other students in their class. Students also get to practice when they go on excursions and communicate with one another and our activity leader outside of class.

Classes are held at the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables - Miami.

Accommodation:

The YES USA program offers excellent on-campus accommodations at the University of Miami’s student residential halls, with each semi-suite featuring:

- Two double rooms
- In-suite style bathroom that connects the two rooms (the ratio of one bathroom per every 4 guests).
- Two bathrooms (1:4 ratio maximum) with shower, vanity, and toilet
- Twin XL bed
- Desk and chair
- Closet and Dresser
- Recycle bin & trash container.
- Residence facilities/services:
- Air conditioner
- WiFi is available throughout the whole campus, including dorms, classrooms, cafeteria, etc.
- Linens, towels, a pillow, and a blanket provided
- Weekly linen exchange
- Full suite/room cleaning upon arrival
- One mid-stay cleaning
- Laundry room with washers and dryers in the basement of each residence hall
- Common areas for students to hang out
- 24/7 security in the lobby - entrance is restricted to university ID holders only.

Excursions:

Our excursion program is packed with activities to entertain and educate our students. It includes 5 half-day activities and 2 full-day activities. Our enthusiastic activity leaders will be thrilled to show you the best of Miami. They will happily share their knowledge of our exciting city, American life, culture and history with you.

Meals:

The meal plan consists of three meals a day (all you can eat), most of which are served in the dining hall at the University of Miami. From cereals to egg scrambles and pancakes for breakfast; from soups and salads to burgers and pizza for lunch, our great variety of food options will please the fussiest of eaters. No matter what you are in the mood for, the dining hall will undoubtedly have something delicious for you.

Refund & Cancellation Policy for YES USA Junior Programs

Please note that this course is subject to a stricter cancellation policy than our standard terms. The following policy will apply:

1. If a student is denied a visa to the United States, a full refund will be provided upon submission of the official visa rejection letter from the U.S. Embassy.
2. A full refund (minus a $25 administrative fee) will be given for cancellations made more than 90 days before arrival.
3. For cancellations made less than 90 days before arrival, the following fees will be retained:
• 25% of the package if canceled less than 90 days before arrival
• 50% of the package if canceled less than 60 days before arrival
• 100% of the package if canceled less than 30 days before arrival

These terms are set by YES USA in accordance with their university partners and take precedence over Language International’s general refund policy.
